6 DAYS OMO VALLEY AND LALIBELA TOUR

Day 1: Addis Ababa Fly To– Jinka
after an early brekfast you will be trasfer to the airport for the flight to jinka. In this  day on arrival at Jinka airport teddy zion tours team will be waiting you at the exit door of the airport then you will be driving to Key Afer local market to see the Benna tribe , hammer tribe and tsemay tribes with the mane people Then proceed to the Turmi where the Hamer people lives. Overnight in Turmi Lodge

 

Day 2: Excursion to Omorate (75kms 2hrs drive) Then Drive To Jinka
A fter having your breakfast, you will have an excursion to Omorate to visit the Dassanech tribe ‘people of the Delta’, who lives on the northern shore of Lake Turkana. Visit and drive back to Turmi for lunch then drive to Jinka on the way you will have a chance of attending the tribe market of Key Afer and you will see around 3 tribe in the markets then drive to jinka for overnight and you will see the Ari people , the largest population in the lower omo valley. The women wear skirts from the banana like tree, called Enset are expert in pottery. Overnight in Jinka Resort

 

Day 3: Drive Jinka – Mago – Jinka – Departure
Take a day excursion to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi village. The Mursi are one of the exotic ethnic groups in Ethiopia. They live in very low huts made of straw leaves. The women like to wear terra cotta on their enormously stretched lower lips and ear lobes. Drive back to Jinka Later you will be transferred to the airport for your departure. Over night hotel

 

Day 4: Fly Addis – Lalibela  (The Eighth Wonder of the World)  

You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Lalibela. Be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. ‘Eighth wonder of world Heritage’ Lalibela is famous for its underground rock-hewn cathedrals.  In the afternoon you will visit top attractions of Lalibela that will simply stagger you. These churches include Bete Medhane Alem, Bete Mariam, Bete Meskal, Bete Denaghel, Bete Golgotha, Bete Mikael, and Bete Giorgis.  Over night hotel

 

Day 5: Excursion to Yimrehane Kristos

Morning you will take an excursion to visit Yimrehane Kirstos, located in a mountain ridge, in the peak of Abuna Yosef. This exquisite church, a masterpiece of Axumite wood and stone construction and renewed for its interior decoration. The walls are subdivided vertically with recessions and projections. In the afternoon you will visit the remaining churches: Bete Gabriel, Bete Marqorios, Bete Emmanuel, and Bete Aba Libanos over night hotel

 

Day 6: Lalibela– Addis

After breakfast enjoy the sun rise at your hotel then later we will be transferring you to airport for your flight to  Addis Ababa then. In this day will have time to visit a couple of sites in addis ababa ones you finish your tour will take you to the airport for your flight back home depend on your flight scheduel.
